一、培养目标 Training Objectives
本项目是经国家学位办批准的专业学位硕士点,致力于培养具有良好的统计学背景的交叉学科研究生,包括大数据、社会统计、金融统计、统计建模与仿真等。本项目提供理论统计的坚实基础,提供应用统计领域的广泛教育,提供大数据分析实战项目。毕业生将受雇于全世界,涉及领域包括社会各产业、经济金融业、政府和企业管理、社会调查分析、各类大数据统计分析等。应用统计专硕学位为那些对于商业、工业、农林渔业、企事业、政府或者科学研究感兴趣的人设计。
This project is a professional master's degree program approved by the office of the State Council, which will be devoted to the training of graduate students with good statistical background of cross subject, including big data, social statistics, financial statistics, statistical modeling and simulation, etc. Graduates will be employed in the whole world, involving fields including all sectors of society, economic and financial industry, government and business management, social investigation and analysis, and statistical analysis of all kinds of big data. The applied statistics project is designed for those interested in business, industry, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, enterprise, government, or scientific research.

三、学习年限Length of Schooling
全日制专业硕士研究生的基本学制为2.5年,最长修业年限为5年,其中累计在校学习时间不少于2年。
The basic length of schooling for full-time professional graduate student is two and a half years. The students have a maximum of five years to finish their Master Degree with cumulative study time in the school no less than two year.
四、课程设置与学分要求Course Offered and Credit Requirement
课程教学实行学分制。课程分为学位课(包括公共类学位课和学科类学位课)、非学位课和必修环节三类。硕士研究生在规定时间内至少应完成总计35学分的学习任务,其中学位课学分不低于19学分,包含公共类学位课程11学分,学科类学位课8学分以上;非学位选修课不少于8学分;学位课与非学位课学分之和不少于27学分;必修环节8学分。具体课程设置见后面附表。
The credit system is practiced in the course teaching. Courses are divided into three categories: the degree courses (including the public degree and the subject degree), the non-degree courses and compulsory subject. Graduate students within the prescribed period of time should finish at least a total of 35 credits of learning task, where not less than 19 credit degree course credits, containing public class degree course 11credits and discipline class degree course more than 8 credits; the sum of the credits of the degree and non-degree courses is more than 27, where subject elective courses more than 8 credits; the compulsory part is 8 credits. Attachment is the detailed curriculum schedule.
五、培养方式Training Mode
1. 应用统计硕士专业学位研究生培养以课程学习和应用技能培养为主,以科学研究为辅。坚持“宽口径,厚基础,重应用”的培养原则。
2. 应用统计硕士专业学位研究生培养采取导师负责与集体培养相结合的方式,每名研究生指导工作实行“双师制”:一名为学术专业型指导教师,是研究生培养的第一负责人;另一名为应用研究型指导教师。
3. 采用理论联系实际的教学方式。结合实际问题进行案例学习,通过课堂讨论引导学生结合具体问题进行思考探索,以培养学生独立分析问题和解决问题的能力,并聘请实务部门有丰富实践经验的专家讲课或开设讲座。
4. 加强实践训练环节。学校在大型企事业单位和政府管理部门建立实习实践基地,加强对学生实习实践活动的安排,并考核成绩。实习形式按照学生的实际情况可以做多种安排。
1. The training of graduate students of Applied Statistics master's degree is mainly based on curriculum learning and application skills, supplemented by scientific research. We should adhere to the principle of "wide bore, thick foundation, and heavy application".
2. A way of combining tutors with collective training is adopted in the training of graduate students of Applied Statistics master's degree, that is to say, the "double tutors system" is implemented in the guidance work for every graduate student: an academic professional teacher is the first person in charge of graduate training; another teacher is in charge of the guidance of application.
3. The teaching method of linking theory with practice is used. Case study is combined with practical problems. Through classroom discussions, students are guided to think and explore with specific problems, so as to cultivate students' ability to analyze and solve problems independently. Experts with rich practical experience will be invited from practical departments to give lectures.
4. The practice training link will be strengthened. Schools establish practice bases in large enterprises and government departments, strengthen the arrangement of practice activities for students' practice, and assess their achievements. The practice forms can be arranged in accordance with the actual situation of the students.
六、培养过程实施Performance of Training Process
根据《浙江科技学院关于外国来华留学硕士研究生培养工作的基本规定(试行)》,加强研究生培养的目标管理,学院和学位点对研究生的课程教学、开题报告、实践活动、指导小组的确定、个人培养计划的制定和执行、中期考核以及学位论文的评阅和答辩等环节严格管理并加强检查,确保研究生培养质量。
According to the “Regulations for overseas postgraduates education of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (trial version)”, the subordinate school should strengthen the management of students education to ensure the quality of students, including course teaching, thesis proposal, practical activity, academic activity, establishment of steering group, the formulation and implementation of personal training schedule, interim assessment and the arrangement of appraisement and the defence of graduation thesis.
(一) 制定个人培养计划 Personal Training Proposal
研究生入学后一个月内,在导师的指导下根据本学科培养方案和研究生本人的具体情况确定研究方向与制订个人培养计划,经学位点负责人审定后实施。
The graduate students should decide their research directions and make their individual training program and their specific conditions within one month of enrolling, and the training proposals will be implemented with the improvement of the head of the academic degree program.
(二) 开题报告 Opening Report
研究生应系统地查阅国内外有关文献,了解国内外科技动态,并对收集的资料做出分析和评述,指出需要解决的问题和方法,在导师指导下提出论文工作计划,并做开题报告。
The graduate students should systematic consult domestic and foreign literatures, learn the developments of science and technology at home and abroad, analyze and review the collected information, point out the issues and the solutions, make the research proposals under the guidance of their supervisors, and give opening report.
(三) 学位论文Dissertations
论文选题要在学生调查研究的基础上,针对实际问题或实际需要在导师指导下进行。论文形式可以是专题研究,也可以是高质量的调查报告或高质量的案例研究。对论文的评价主要考核学生运用所学理论解决实际问题的能力,强调知识的实际应用。
The thesis topic selection should be carried out on the basis of the investigation and research by the students and aimed at practical problems under the guidance of the tutors. The content of the thesis contains monographic study, high quality survey report or case study. The evaluation of the paper mainly appraises the ability of the students to use theory to solve practical problems, and emphasizes on the practical application of knowledge.
