摘要：We will talk about how quantum groups are introduced in Lie theory and some of their achivements. The talk will be intructory and the simple examples of U_q(sl2) and SU_q(2) are used in the discussion.
报告人简介：景乃桓，耶鲁大学博士，美国北卡州立大学终身教授，国家自然科学基金重点项目主持人。曾获教育部“长江学者”讲座教授、国家自然科学海外青年学者合作基金（杰青B）、美国富尔布莱特学者、德国洪堡基金获得者。
主要在数学领域中的李理论和量子群、数学物理领域的量子计算和量子信息等方面开展研究。

摘要：In this work, we introduce topological representations of a quiver as a system consisting of topological spaces and its relationships determined by the quiver. Such a setting gives a natural connection between topological representations of a quiver and diagrams of topological spaces.
报告人简介：李方，浙江大学数学系教授，博导，主要从事 cluster代数与cluster范畴，代数表示论, Hopf代数和量子群， 环与代数，群与半群的结构与表示论的研究。曾入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，浙江省151人才工程人选，获得多次省级科研奖项。已先后主持国家自然科学基金6项，浙江省自然科学基金重大和重点项目各一项，共发表论文120多篇，其中有不少工作发表在 Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Adv. Math., Comm. Math. Phys., J. Algebra等一些本领域的重要刊物上。
