报告摘要：For a viscous radiative and reactive gas, we first review some of our results on the construction of global smooth non-vacuum solutions to its Cauchy problem with large initial data, then we present our recent results on the nonlinear stability of some basic wave patterns with large initial perturbation. The key point in our analysis is to deduce the desired uniform positive lower and upper bounds on the specific volume and the absolute temperature.
报告人简介：赵会江，二级教授，国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，2000年入选中国科学院“引进国外杰出人才计划（百人计划）”。现任武汉大学数学与统计学院院长，教育部高等学校数学类专业教学指导委员会委员，国务院学位委员会第八届学科评议组成员，中国数学学会常务理事，《数学物理学报》中英文版副主编，《Kinetic and Related Models》编委。赵教授长期从事非线性偏微分方程，特别是动理学方程及相关的宏观模型数学理论的研究，在动理学方程定解问题的适定性以及其解和相关的宏观模型解的关系等问题的研究上取得了一些有意义的研究进展，获得2007年度教育部自然科学奖二等奖和2008年度湖北省自然科学一等奖。
