提要：We will discuss the critical pints of the first variation of volume of
Lagrangian submanifolds under Hamiltonian variations. A fourth order elliptic PDE arises.
报告人简介：陈教授本科毕业于北京大学数学系、斯坦福大学博士，现为加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学教授、博导。陈教授研究领域为微分几何和偏微分方程，曾获加拿大数学会Coxter-James 奖、 Andre Aisenstadt 奖 (Centre de recherches mathematiques)、 美国Sloan Fellowship；曾为布朗大学杰出访问教授，斯坦福大学和普林斯顿大学访问教授；曾在麻省理工学院，西北大学，加州大学（尔湾）工作。
