报告摘要：In the last two decades, variational techniques have proved to be successful in solving difficult problems in the image restoration and processing field. More recently, the same techniques are being explored in new areas of science. In this talk we will cover the basic foundations of variational methods, and then will move to review how it is applied to image denoising, fringe pattern analysis and supervised learning methods.
