五、报告摘要：Using a combination of average operators, we study some equivalent relation to the H^p functional. In the talk, I will address how to use harmonic analysis methods (such as the oscillatory integral and wave estimate) to obtain some properties in approximation theory.

报告人简介：

    范大山教授是国际知名的调和分析专家。他早年师从安徽省优秀教育家李世雄教授和我国著名的数学家龚昇先生学习典型群上的调和分析，于1986年赴美国华盛顿大学学习，并于1990年获得博士学位。1990-1991年在世界调和分析大师 Weiss 教授的指导下作博士后研究，于1991年起在美国Wisconsin大学的Milwaukee校区工作，职称先后为助理教授（1991-1996），副教授（1996-1999），正教授（1999-至今）。范大山教授从1994年起一直是博士生导师,先后指导博士后和中国大陆的访问教授10人。

   范大山教授的研究方向涉及到抽象调和分析，经典调和分析，算子理论，以及偏微分方程等。已经发表了约160篇论文，大部分都发表在SCI杂志上，如 American Journal of Mathematics，Journal of Functional Analysis，Transactions of the American Mathematical Society，Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society，Indiana University Mathematics Journal，Illinois Journal of Mathematics，Canadian Journal of Mathematics，Studia Mathematica，Nonlinear Analysis，Mathematische Zeitschrift, Michigan Mathematical Journal等。
